Graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the Wellington Academy has transformed itself into a high performing school over the past three years.

OFSTED noted that ‘The quality of school leadership has improved since the previous inspection. As a result, expectations of what pupils can achieve are higher. Leaders have created a culture in which high standards of behaviour are expected and pupils are encouraged to succeed.’

Our staff charter underlines our belief that all students can achieve, be happy and have limitless aspirations– and our job as professionals is to ensure this happens. All our staff sign up to these aspirations and play a full role in contributing to this vision through inclusive teaching. If you have a desire to make a difference, with a calm and focused approach, the ability to make decisions, work independently as well as part of a team, with a good sense of humour, then please apply.
