Aspris College North Wales is recruiting a Maths Tutor to join our Teaching team now! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed tutor who will expand the learning experiences and provide tuition for small groups of young people, which allows for full engagement and ensures that the program of learning meets the needs of the individual. You will have experience teaching the national curriculum, including Maths GCSE and any other subjects that you may be able to teach is desirable. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of teaching Maths national curriculum, as well as teaching and supporting young people within SEN schools, along with the following characteristics:
Resilience – We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Communication – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation – You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each students learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.

Attentive – No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital
