With an ethos of the First Step in the Adventure of Life, Bilton Grange is a safe and wonderful environment of woodland and open space in which to learn and grow, where children can stay younger, longer.
Our fabulous facilities include a 25m swimming pool, hockey astros, Music School, Art atrium, fully fitted DT studios, science labs and more.
We make learning the adventure it should be and our unique approach enables children to find many things they are good at both in and outside the classroom. The packed options programme includes everything from fencing to bee keeping, and water polo to drama groups.
In 2025, 35 of our school leavers achieved scholarships to top UK public schools including Eton, Uppingham and Oundle with 60% achieving places to Rugby School.
We are now leading the way in prep school boarding with the opening of Earle House, our state-of-the-art boarding house, in 2025. Our 21st century boarding model is child-centered, a home-from-home featuring en-suite rooms, hubs for games and fun, a home cinema and the now renowned helter-skelter slide that transports children between each level. We were recently awarded The Week Independent Schools Guide’s Best of the Best ‘Great for Boarding’ title.
A new boarding pathway to Rugby School is now available to boarders joining us in Year 7, without the need for assessment against external applicants, alongside a financial package including discounted fees.
Bilton Grange became the first prep school to join Rugby School Group in 2020. Aysgarth School later joined in July 2025, with Old Buckenham Hall becoming the third in January 2026 and Beaudesert Park School due to join from 1 July 2026.
