Ifield Community College is looking to appoint a Medical Officer to provide a First Aid service for students ensuring their medical needs are catered for and to oversee the running of the Medical Room. You will be expected to discharge the school’s duty of care and safeguarding responsibilities to ensure the well-being of all students. Additional pastoral duties may also be required including the provision of some administrative support.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate robustness & resilience as the role can be extremely rewarding but very demanding. It is important to be able to maintain a level of calm and have excellent communication skills with both adults and young people. It is essential to have good organisational skills, ability to multi task and act as a role model for students.
We have excellent facilities in a state of the art building, which is situated in a pleasant location only 30 minutes to both Croydon & Brighton, by rail or car.
