Macmillan Academy serves the entire Middlesbrough area and staff take pride in the educational outcomes and the numbers of Post 16 students who transfer to higher education, apprenticeship and work.
We are seeking an inspirational and motivated candidate who has a proven track record of innovative approaches to teaching and someone who can continue to raise achievement in the department.
The successful candidate will:
· Lead a supportive, well motivated team with a strong ethos for collaborative and shared practice.
· Have the ability to teach across the full ability range, including A level at both French and Spanish.
· Benefit from working with students with very high parental engagement.
· Work in an environment with a strong emphasis on professional development.

Macmillan Academy is an academy based in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England.
The school was founded in 1989 as the Macmillan City Technology College, one of the first of 15 City Technology Colleges established in England. The school converted to academy status in 2006. and is now part of Endeavour Academies Trust.
We are a 11-18 Academy & 6th form college, and offer a huge range of courses and opportunities to our students and staff.
