We are seeking to appoint an excellent French and Spanish Teacher to join our MFL department. Committed to raising attainment, you will have the ability to motivate our students to succeed. You will join an experienced and well-resourced MFL department and be able to teach both French and Spanish across the full age and ability range.
The position offers an excellent opportunity for either an established teacher or an NQT to join our over-subscribed and expanding school. A TLR could be available alongside this teaching role for a pastoral Head of Learning for a suitably experienced applicant. If you are passionate about your subject and want to really make a difference in the lives of young people then The Highcrest Academy could be the school for you; a thriving school in the heart of the community with free on-site parking and “Friday Biscuits”!
Just 30 minutes by train from Central London, The Highcrest Academy is the first All Ability Academy in in the county of Buckinghamshire. It is culturally diverse and a vibrant school making it a fantastic place to teach. We have some students who will need all your support and yet we also featured in the national Ofsted report (2016) for providing challenge to the most able. Does this enthuse you? There are approximately 950 students on roll, which includes the Sixth Form. A new building programme will begin later this year to increase our Sixth Form, sports and recreational facilities for both students and staff.
