We are proud to serve the communities around Ryde on the Isle of Wight as an 11-18 school where our staff travel not just from Cowes and Yarmouth but from Portsmouth and Southampton. Ofsted judged us as a ‘good academy’ in January 2017 and our Principal Joy Ballard as ‘an inspirational leader’. 

In 2017 we celebrated 60% of our students obtaining 4+s in either English and maths. We know that they can do even better. We want Ryde to lead the way in teaching excellence and for all our staff and students to develop their maximum potential. We are keen to enhance teaching capacity and teaching standards both in the Academy and on the Island. We work with teacher training centres in the South with huge success.
