Hours: 10 hours per week Mon-Friday
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only

We are seeking to appoint a permanent Midday Assistant to supervise and ensure the welfare of the children in the playground and lunch hall during outside learning time. The safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during break must be monitored and met in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
As a Midday Assistant, you will ensure children are nurtured and engaged in suitable positive activities at lunch time, so their wellbeing is being met.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a school, a good understanding of health and safety procedures and great communication and organisational skills. First Aid knowledge would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
-ensure a positive dining experience for all students
-encourage social interaction whilst promoting and engaging with games and play
-promote good manners and high standards of behaviour
-work as part of a dedicated team
-be willing to undertake training
