Clacton Coastal Academy (CCA) is a vibrant, forwarding thinking Academy for 11-19 year old students in West Clacton sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust. We are an ambitious learning community with high aspirations and expectations. There are 1200 students (over 200 in the sixth form) on roll at the academy and over 200 staff. At ‘A’ level we are part of the VI6 consortium providing ‘A’ level teaching hosted at the University of Essex. With our strong focus on employability we have exciting and innovative links with employers and the local community.
We are looking to appoint two Midday Assistants to maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of students during the lunch breaks. The successful candidates will have experience of working with children in a school environment and will have the ability to establish rapport and trusting relationships with children, their families and carers and other adults. A basic knowledge of First Aid would be desirable but is not essential.
As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners – to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. In each of the AET academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes. You will also be offered membership of a Health Cash Plan, Childcare Vouchers and much more.
These positions are required to commence as soon as possible.
