13.75 hours per week (7.30am to 9am and 12pm to 13.15pm - Mon to Fri)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at John Burns Primary School for a Midday Meals Supervisor and Breakfast School Care Assistant

We are seeking the right person to join this high achieving, popular one form entry school and to uphold our vision of “Giving our best and achieving our highest”. Based in Battersea, John Burns has a wonderful community spirit that celebrates our diverse population. 

You will assist at lunchtimes in the day-to-day supervision in the lunch hall and on the playground and the day to day running of our Breakfast School Care Service. Your role will be to support the delivery of exciting, creative and sporting activities to the children. You will be required to engage with the children, prepare healthy breakfasts and drinks during breakfast school care.

 You will be required to ensure the school’s Behaviour Policy is rigorously employed and to ensure our childrens’ behaviour and manners are upheld. 

We are looking for someone who has aspirations to gain experience of working in a school setting. You will take pride in supporting these young children to reach their full potential, be happy and safe. You need to be flexible, patient and confident about working with young children.
