Ben Jonson Primary school is a vibrant, 3 form entry school, situated in the richly diverse community on the Ocean Estate. We are seeking to appoint Midday Meals Supervisors to join us. Some of the key duties will include:

• To take responsibility for the supervision of pupils during their lunch break: in the dining hall; about the school premises; and in the play areas.
• To apply the school behaviour policy to effectively manage children and resolve any incidents, enabling all children to enjoy their lunch break.
• Assisting, as directed, with arrangements for the administration of the taking of school meals and supporting the school’s policies regarding school meal provision (i.e. healthy eating).
• To lead children in active play and exercise, encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
• To work specifically with children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis.
