The role
This is a fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of extending further. It is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with children, but in a way that won't impact too much on your day with working hours of 11:30-13:30 Monday to Friday, term time only. Working alongside other Midday Supervisors during our lunchtime break, you will set the tone for the children's afternoon by ensuring a safe and fun lunch time is had. We are a family here at Oasis Academy Ryelands, therefore it’s really important to us that candidates are onboard with our vision and values, to help foster a warm, inclusive and aspirational culture at school.
Our Academy
We are at the heart of our community and care about the provision we offer all our pupils. From Nursery to Year 6, each child has the benefit of staff dedicated to encouraging them along the journey of learning and discovery, within the security of a caring atmosphere where all staff in partnership with parents and carers work together. Oasis Academy Ryelands is a happy, calm and friendly community school where the success of every child really matters.

About Oasis Academy Ryelands
Oasis Academy Ryelands has gone through a number of changes in the last few years. In June 2014 our school became an Academy and we joined the Oasis Community Learning family.
We have a very beautiful, traditional looking building on the outside with the interior refurbished in a modern way to give the children as much natural light and space as possible. We are a two form entry, co-educational school with 14 classes as well as a Nursery which offers full-time and part-time places. We cater for children aged 3 – 11 years old.
During the last year we have taken enormous strides to improve and we are now considered the most improved Primary School in Croydon. Please come and see us in action!
