Midday Supervisors (SMSA) – Strand on the Green Junior School

Salary:                      London Living Wage (Scale 1a FTE £25,854 – pro rata actual pay approx. £4,496)

Midday supervisors needed for Strand on the Green Junior School – 7 hrs and 30 mins per week required immediately.

Strand on the Green Junior School in Chiswick require SMSAs to lead play at lunchtimes.

We are looking for applicants who are interested in working with children and have the ability and enthusiasm to organise and lead sporting activities during lunch play. The position would be term time only and from 11:50 to 1:20pm each day. The school caters for children from 7 -11 and has an ASD center, The Swan Centre @ Strand Schools on site. SMSAs are also assigned to our Swan Centre children to support their play and help them manage their social interactions. We are also seeking SMSAs to fulfill this role.

You will be helping children participate in play and leading sporting activities such as football and basketball under the guidance of the senior SMSA and the PE specialist. You will need to enjoy working with children and have enthusiasm, energy, good humour and patience.
