We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant.

Our two schools have been serving the Gorleston community for many years. In December 2016, we became Wroughton Infant and Junior Academies – part of Creative Education Trust, which provides us with many opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues from other schools. Our two school buildings are connected, and we function as an all-through primary school.

Our hard-working staff team educate children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. We are lucky to have an exceptionally large site, with plenty of outdoor space for children to explore, learn and develop.

The school is well-resourced, and we provide an inclusive education for all the children in our care. Through our high expectations, we strive to ensure that children have the knowledge, understanding and skills to be confident and successful. Please take a look at our school website to find out more about us.

You will benefit from high quality professional development to develop your skills and knowledge and a tailored induction programme with on-going support from our friendly, experienced and skilled team.

In addition to the opportunities for training and development, we also offer a competitive benefits package.

As an employee you will have access to:

  • Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Scheme provided by Health Assured
  • Bike2Work Scheme - where you can save up to 42% on the cost of bicycles and/or equipment

Creative Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undertake relevant safeguarding checks.

Wroughton Academies (Junior Site) is a vibrant, inclusive learning community committed to ensuring every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally. Guided by our shared mission - “Through the highest expectations, we ensure that children have the knowledge, understanding and skills to be confident and successful” - everything we do is underpinned by ambition, care, and high‑quality teaching.

Led by Headteacher Jessica Balls, the Junior Site builds on strong foundations and a culture where excellence is expected and celebrated. Our curriculum is challenging, broad, and engaging, designed to stimulate curiosity, develop critical thinking, and nurture creativity. Alongside academic achievement, we place equal importance on emotional intelligence, physical wellbeing, creative expression, and social responsibility, ensuring a truly holistic approach to education.

As part of Creative Education Trust, Wroughton Academies benefits from being within a supportive and forward‑thinking family of schools united by a shared purpose: to transform lives through education. Collaboration, high expectations, and purposeful leadership enable our pupils - and our staff - to feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed.

With open communication at the heart of our ethos, we work closely with families and the wider community to create a dynamic learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
