Middle School Math Teacher (Singapore Math)

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Middle School math teacher specializing in the Singapore Math approach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive math lessons that inspire and challenge our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in math

• Implement the Singapore Math curriculum, adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs

• Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback and grades as per school policies

• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school

• Participate in department, school, and parent meetings

• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular professional development sessions

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field

• Teaching certification relevant to the middle school level

• Proven experience in teaching math, specifically Singapore Math methodology

• Strong fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds
