Good Samaritan Catholic College seeks an enthusiastic and skilled Middle Years teacher to join our staff of P-12 teachers.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
-The ability to effectively teach across a range of learning areas and year levels -A competent knowledge of and demonstrated ability to engage in effective pedagogical practice
-A willingness to engage in collaborative pedagogical improvement practices
-Demonstrated ability to engage effective student management, support practices and a willingness to fully engage with the College Positive Behaviour for Learning approach
-Effective management and maintenance of student learning data and reporting practices

Good Samaritan Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 College located at Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast. The College opened in 2019 and is steadily growing towards full enrolment. The first seniors will graduate from the College in 2024. As part of Brisbane Catholic Education, our co-educational College aims to be a welcoming and supportive community of people who respect ourselves, each other and the environment. To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Employment Tenure: Full Time (Term-Time) + Fixed Term
Tenure Duration (if "Fixed Term"): Terms 2, 3 and 4, 2020

Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
