Greenwood is a vibrant, successful 11-18 Academy situated in the heart of Castle Vale. We currently have 950 pupils on roll and are growing every year. At Greenwood our core values are Respect, Responsibility and Resilience and this forms the foundation of our school culture. We intend that all pupils develop the knowledge and character needed to achieve personal and academic excellence. 

We are looking to appoint a minibus driver to drive the Academy’s mini bus on a daily basis as required.

Responsibilities:

  •  To drive the Academy’s mini bus on a daily basis as required.
  • To maintain daily safety/inspection checks of the minibus
  • To ensure the safe transport to and from the academy of pupils and to be responsible for the safety of the children whilst on the minibus.
  • All employees are expected to show a responsible attitude to health and safety issues and have due regard for their personal safety and that of others.
  • All employees are expected to have a good understanding of the safeguarding of pupils.

This is a casual position and is require to commence as soon as possible.

Lift Greenwood is a vibrant, successful 11-18 school situated in the heart of Castle Vale. We moved into our £20 million new build in September 2017 with world class facilities. We have a firm and fair approach to behaviour, systematically supported by senior staff; all pupil detentions are centralised and run by senior staff every day. Teachers are therefore able to prioritise the planning and teaching of their subject.

3. Work-life balance

We are committed to reducing teacher workload and making sure that everything we do has a positive impact on pupil learning. This means we have a slimmed-down marking policy, a centralised knowledge focused homework policy, no parents evenings and a minimal assessment, reporting and data entry cycle.
