Invictus Alternative Provision are recruiting for Minibus Driver/Assistant Caretaker to start as soon as possible

20 hours per week, term time only, 39 weeks

Fixed Term 1 Year

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are seeking to appoint flexible, committed team players to complement our team to drive Invictus Alternative Provision Mini Bus in a responsible and competent manner and be responsible for supervising students to and from each location. 

To drive the Invictus mini buses in accordance with the schedule to provide a professional transport service to our students during the school day and after school events/activates. 

To provide Assistant Caretaking support across the Trust.

Experience/Qualifications: 

  •  It is essential to hold a full, current and valid D1 driving licence. Training may be considered to upgrade Category B license holders
  • It is essential to hold a full, current and valid D1 driving licence. Training may be considered to upgrade Category B license holders
  • Geographical knowledge of the site locations is desirable
  • Previous experience of driving a large vehicle is desirable although training will be provided.
  • Must be competent to undertake basic visual vehicle checks, although further training will be provided.

Leasowes High School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with a Sixth Form situated in Halesowen, West Midlands. It provides 1,190 places for students aged 11-18 when fully subscribed.
