At Wycliffe our transport team in a very important part of our school providing professional and safe transport services to the whole Wycliffe community. We are now seeking friendly and polite individuals to drive on fleet of modern minibuses on set routes, before and after school during the following hours:

  • Morning School runs Monday to Saturday between 6.30am and 8.30am during term time only
  • Evening School runs between 6.30pm and 8.30pm Monday - Friday, term time only.


The right applicant may be considered for both roles.

Over-time hours for matches and School academic and pastoral trips are also available. Applicants will need to be confident with a warm and flexible approach, and be able to show initiative as well as possessing basic IT skills.

Drivers must hold a full UK driving licence with D or D1 categories and with a minimum of two years driving experience.

The roles are based at our Senior school in Stonehouse.

About Us

Wycliffe is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school. Wycliffe is located in Stonehouse, approximately 25 miles north of Bristol and 15 miles south of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Access via the motorway network is convenient (we are 3 miles from the M5) and there is a train station in Stonehouse (on the main line from London to Cheltenham) which is just a two minute walk from the school gates. In the Senior School pupils join at Year 9 (age 13) and continue until Year 13 (age 18). There are around 420 pupils in the school and 225 in the Sixth Form. Some 27 subjects are offered at A Level including Japanese, Film Studies, Computer Science and Psychology. Three BTECs are on offer as well as the EPQ. Main sports are rugby, football and cricket for boys with hockey, netball and tennis for girls. Wycliffe is the top school in the UK for squash, and excels at rowing and basketball and there is a thriving CCF.
