Job overview

The Holgate Academy are looking for an experienced and reliable driver to transport students to and from Queen Elizabeth's Academy (QEA - Mansfield) to the Hucknall Sixth Form Centre (HSFC) in the morning and HSFC to QEA at the end of the school day. . As a member of the academy’s support staff team you will play an important ‘front of house’ role driving one of the school’s minibuses.


Job title:               Minibus Driver

Salary:                   Grade 2 - actual salary £8,717 per annum 

Hours of work:    20 per week (4 hours per day), term time only

(7.15am to 9.15am and 2.15pm to 4.15pm, Monday to Friday)

Contract:               Permanent 

Closing Date:       25 May 2022 


Applications are welcome from candidates who hold a full and clean UK driving licence with a minimum of a D1 category. Whist the work will be predominantly for The Holgate Academy there are times when driving will be on behalf of other academies within Diverse Academies or the local area.

A warm welcome to The Holgate Academy careers site. We are a large secondary academy for students aged 11-16 years based in Hucknall and, together with our partner academies, offer post 16 study at the Hucknall Sixth Form Centre.
