Job overview

We are looking to appoint two Minibus Drivers in the following part time, permanent positions:

  • 25 hours per week over 34 weeks per annum. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 7am to 9:30am and 3pm to 5:30pm. The salary for this position is £12,713 per annum.

  • 15 hours per week over 34 weeks per annum. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 6am to 9am. The salary for this position is £7,629 per annum.

Under the direction of the Transport & Logistics Manager, the successful applicant will operate the school minibuses and provide a collection and delivery service for school staff and pupils. The ideal candidate will have previous driving experience preferably gained in a school environment and will possess good interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to work alone and under their own initiative. The post holder will have a full driving licence with D1 entitlement.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours. Please note the school strictly complies with the EU Rules for Drivers’ Hours.
