Are you organised, accurate and someone who takes pride in getting the details right?
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused MIS Assistant to join our supportive team within our Multi Academy Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with information, solving problems and making sure things are accurate, complete and delivered on time. You don't need to have worked in a school or education before. Full training will be provided.
What matters most to us is your approach: you will be someone who is naturally organised, has excellent attention to detail, is confident working with data and takes pride in producing accurate work.
The person we're looking for: We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are methodical, reliable and exceptionally organised.
You might be someone who:
Has excellent attention to detail and spots errors that others might miss.
Takes pride in producing accurate work.
Is highly organised and able to manage several tasks and deadlines at the same time.
Enjoys working with data and information.
Is confident using IT and willing to learn new systems.
Can follow processes carefully while also knowing when to ask questions or seek clarification.
Has good numerical and literacy skills.
Is able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Communicates clearly and works well with others.
Remains calm and focused when working to deadlines.
Is proactive, dependable and takes responsibility for their work.
Enjoys being part of a team and is willing to support colleagues when needed.
Previous experience in education, school administration or working with a school MIS is not essential. We are much more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude, work ethic and attention to detail. Full training and support will be provided.
A supportive team environment: You will join a friendly and supportive team where you will have the opportunity to learn, develop your skills and build your knowledge of MIS, data and examinations.
We understand that starting a new role involving specialist systems and processes can feel daunting. That's why we will provide the training you need and support you as you develop in the role.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will be on hand to answer questions, share their knowledge and help you become confident in your role. The team is based at Hinde House 2-16 Academy (secondary phase).
We welcome applications from candidates from a range of backgrounds. Previous experience within education is not required — we are looking for the right person and will provide the training needed to succeed in the role.
The role is 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, working pattern to be discussed at interview.
If you would like to have an informal discussion, please contact Gemma Bell – Senior Data and MIS Officer, email: gbell@brigantiatrust.net

About Brigantia Learning Trust
Brigantia Learning Trust is a successful 2 - 18+ Academy Trust in the north of Sheffield. It was borne out of the success of Hinde House 3 - 16 School that was graded as strongly good by Ofsted in 2012 and 2016.
Currently, our Trust comprises Wincobank Nursery and Infant School (2 - 7), Concord Junior School (7 - 11), Hinde House Primary School (2 - 11), Hinde House Secondary School (11 - 16) and Longley Park Sixth Form College (16 - 18+).
Our Trust is exceptionally well led and since our partnership began in 2014, all schools/colleges have either improved or maintained their Ofsted grade. 92% of students currently attend at least a good school.
Our priorities are to drive improvement in each school/college and further develop local strategic partnerships. In so doing, we aim to secure a coherent vision for education in our unique part of the city. We are deeply committed to the progression of our students into high quality training, higher education and work, and the development of our locality and city.
Ultimately, and most importantly, we wish to be an engine of community cohesion, aspiration, achievement, success and social mobility for every child we serve.
