Job overview
The post holder will be highly committed and possess excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills. Advanced knowledge of database/spreadsheet manipulation (e.g. Excel) is a distinct advantage. Prior knowledge and experience of managing MIS systems and data analysis/tracking is desirable but not essential as is specific experience in the use of the ISAMS software.
This is a key responsibility within the College. The post holder will be responsible for managing the all operational aspects of the College Management Information System (MIS).
General duties to include but not restricted to:
Oversee and maintain all aspects of the College MIS, to include e.g. staff access rights, class registration data, academic data (including but not limited to timetable, class lists, assessment and reporting data), pastoral data (including but not limited to house points and behaviour points);
Oversee and maintain the administration of baseline testing
Liaise with SLT in identifying ongoing data requirements for the College;
Identify staff requirements and manage the provision of MIS/data training as required;
Maintain pupil specific data to a high standard;
Provide administrative support relating to pupil reporting/assessment data and integration with data tracking and analysis;
Undertake administrative work relating to the parent portal/VLE
