Salary: Grade 7 £28,485 (point 32) to £31,601 (point 36) per annum

35 hours per week (all year round contract)

Manchester Health Academy opened in September 2009 and is sponsored by Central Manchester NHS Foundation Trust with Manchester City Council as co-sponsor. In September 2010 the Academy moved into a £20 million state-of-the-art building and is now amongst the most popular schools in the city, showing significant academic improvement, a rapidly expanding student population and growing sixth form provision. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is pursuing a career in data management, to work in a state-of-the-art building and dynamic environment. The post-holder will report to and work closely with the Vice Principal to deliver a friendly, efficient and accurate data information service to support the growing needs of the Academy. The role also involves overseeing the examinations, assessments, exclusions and admissions processes.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, possessing the ability to analyse and interrogate data in order to spot trends and discrepancies. To succeed in this role a strong working knowledge of SIMS is required, along with previous experience of data management, analysis and reporting from large databases. You must be customer-orientated, a strong team player and motivated to relish in the challenge of working in a busy and dynamic school environment. A ‘can-do’ attitude is essential, and previous line management experience is a must. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively with other colleagues.
