Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MIS Manager to join the College and lead the MIS team. The appointed person will work closely with the Principal, IT Manager and MIS staff to oversee the College’s MIS function to include carrying out data returns for funding and the ILR, maintain GDPR and oversee timetabling for staff and subjects.
The successful candidate will need to be a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can communicate effectively and provide excellent levels of service. They will be required to work both individually and also as part of a team in carrying out their duties.
Worcester Sixth Form College has over 1600 full-time 16-19 students and an excellent reputation for its results and extra-curricular provision. Rated Ofsted good in January 2023; the College had a pass rate of 99.5% in 2022 and in 2019 had the highest achievement rate of any sixth form college (4th highest nationally). The College is part of the Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), formed on 1 April 2019 and delivers post 16 education in Hereford, Stourbridge and Worcester. The MAT has an annual budget of £28m and serves the needs of 5,500 students across the region.
