What You’ll Do:
- Lead small-group sessions focused on developing core and functional skills in English, Maths, and Science.
- Use practical, real-world activities—such as budgeting, telling time, reading for meaning, and online safety—to make learning accessible and relevant.
- Support cross-curricular thematic learning to help students connect ideas across subjects.
- Promote communication, interaction, and social development through structured group tasks and guided conversations.
- Use sensory-friendly and multisensory approaches to encourage engagement and support individual learning needs.
- Embed consistent routines that foster mindfulness, wellbeing, and emotional regulation, helping reduce anxiety and prepare students to learn.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and SEND staff to track progress and adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
If you're ready to make learning more inclusive, empowering, and enjoyable for students who need something a little different, we’d love to hear from you.
