Montessori/Early Years Teacher

Crickets Montessori Nursery School is an Outstanding nursery that was established in 2004 by Celia Stephenson. It is set in a beautiful purpose built eco friendly building with extensive outside space in NW2 overlooking Brondesbury Bowling Green.

Children are admitted between 2 and 5 years and follow a carefully structured programme of education based on the Montessori Method. As well as learning mathematics, literacy, science and cultural subjects, the curriculum also incorporates a vast range of creative activities including music, dance, yoga and cooking. The experience gained in the exciting environment of Crickets Montessori Nursery School gives children a firm foundation for the next stage of schooling. Our aim is to provide a safe, happy and caring environment in which each child develops at their own pace to reach their full potential.

Crickets is looking for a Montessori/Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team. The position is full time Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, during the term time only, working with a group of 2 - 4 year olds. The successful candidate will have a passion for young children, be fun, creative and most importantly have a good sense of humour. They should have a sound understanding of the EYFS, good written English and work well as part of a team.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to have a clear DBS check and provide two references from previous employers.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications.
