We are seeking, ideally, a bilingual Multimedia Producer & Communications Officer, ideally with experience working in a school. Under the guidance of the Head of School and Head of Department, this role is to create, design and maintain the visual presence of the School. You are the main photographer and digital media editor for the business. You will cover all school events and activities relating to the school day. Strong visual skills and social media agility is essential. This is a great stepping-stone for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to have a high degree of creativity and be part of a successful school community. The position is to be filled by 17 August 2020.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and edit content - photos, video , sound
  • Maintain & update website and digital media channels
  • Cover all school events
  • Work closely with the wider team on promotional events
  • Communicate with external partners
  • Design promotional materials
  • Ad hoc duties.  

Education & Experience Required

  • You are a social media savvy
  • Degree or experience in visual arts, applied arts, digital media, etc.
  • Visual acumen with artistic flair and highly detail orientated
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proactive approach to work (initiative is a must)
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe suite, Indesign, Photoshop software; editing video software (Final cut pro X), etc
  • Video and sound editing experience is ideal
  • English native-speaker ideally with fluent French

The Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill occupies the site of the former Brent Town Hall, a 1930s Grade II-listed building in the late Art Deco style that was bought from Brent Council by the French Education Property Trust in 2012. The new campus is set over five acres, with 12,000 square metres of refurbished and purpose-built teaching spaces for the three levels of schooling:

  • Early Years/Primary: Nursery/Reception to Year 6
  • Lower Secondary: Years 7 to 10
  • Upper Secondary: Years 11 to 13

The campus boasts multiple onsite sports facilities including a running track, three outdoor grass pitches, and an indoor gymnasium. The newly-constructed annex building houses modern science classrooms and a large, bright canteen.

2020 University Offers and destinations:

Our final year (Terminale) students currently have offers from top universities in six different countries, including the UK, France, Canada, Spain, the US, and the Netherlands. Two-thirds of the total UK offers received so far are from Russell Group universities, including University of Cambridge, Imperial College, University College London (UCL), the London School of Economics (LSE), King’s College, Durham University, and the University of Edinburgh.

Additionally, 85% of students that applied via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) have received three or more offers to date (out of a maximum of five). Our Terminale students have also received great offers so far from École Polytechnique (Bachelor), The University of British Columbia (UBC)-Sciences Po, McGill University, University of Toronto, IE University, Maastricht University, Northeastern University, and Columbia University-Sciences Po. More offers are coming in every day! We are proud of each and every one of our graduating class members.
