Our school is a remarkable place and has been educating girls since 1888. Around one thousand girls, age 4 to 18, from Guildford and its surrounding towns and villages, enjoy exceptional facilities and inspired teaching. Do you have an interest in Music?
We have an opportunity for a Music Administrator to provide support to teachers and pupils in our busy music department. Please note this is a temporary role, to provide sickness cover.
The role will include:
- Preparing timetables for visiting music teachers
- Organising the ABRSM instrumental and singing exams
- Booking the piano tuner for school pianos
- Setting up the aural classes for pupils
- Liaising with academic staff, visiting teachers and parents
- Supporting the daily running of music lessons and troubleshooting routine problems
- Helping to manage the extra-curricular music accounts
- Helping to organise ensemble coaching, concerts and major projects.
