Job overview
Music is an important part of life for students at Clifton and the music department is made up of five full-time staff and 32 visiting music teachers, housed in the Joseph Cooper Music School complete with recital hall and recording studio (refurbished 2009). Students regularly go on to conservatoire and to Oxbridge with music scholarships and there is a real diversity of music making within the College.
We are looking to appoint a Music Graduate Assistant to help out in this busy environment, a position which would suit somebody considering a career in teaching. The duties of the role will be adapted to suit the successful candidate's strengths, but could include teaching ABRSM theory and aural, piano accompaniment, taking rehearsals and helping with classroom teaching.

Clifton College Upper School is housed in historical buildings, such as the Grade II-listed Percival Library, but it boasts state-of-the-art sporting facilities, including 24 tennis courts and an Olympic-standard hockey pitch.
