 We are looking for an inspiring teacher  who is passionate about inclusive,  and high-quality music-making. We are interested in candidates who are enthusiastic and ambitious about developing and leading Primary and Key Stage 3  music at the school. We believe every child can benefit from music, but we need an engaging teacher who can help them develop to their full potential. We are looking for a qualified primary teacher who is a music specialist. We have a Key Stage 2 class who are looking for a caring teacher to share them with our current Year 4 teacher who will be working 3 days a week. This post will be as a primary class teacher - 2 days a week and Music - 3 days a week in Primary and Key Stage 3. 

 Almunecar International school is situated in a beautiful location between the mountains and the sea in the Costa Tropical between Malaga and Granada in Spain.

We are a small international school following the British curriculum but currently have a student population of 70% Spanish and a mixture of mostly English and Northern Europeans making up the rest of the school population. .

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the importance of observing and assessing student's development in order to inform planning. She / he will be familiar with English programs of study and will be able to create a welcoming and stimulating classroom and musical environment. We want to inspire our students to develop a love of music and a desire to participate in musical activities.Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage although not obligatory.
