Braeside School is a selective, non-denominational all-through school situated in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. Providing a unique and enjoyable educational experience for pupils from 2½ to 16 years old.

A smaller than average size for a school of its type, Braeside provides 211 places for nursery, primary and secondary school students between the ages of 3-16 when fully subscribed. The school's smaller class sizes, with a high pupil to adult ratio, enables more individual attention and personalised learning.

Braeside School was founded by Miss Marjory Wakefield in 1944 and over the past 80 years there has been much change with new facilities built including science laboratories and sports facilities.

In September 2015 Braeside became part of the Oak-Tree Group of Schools and under the ownership of the Hagger Family looks forward to many more years of service to the community. The Oak-Tree Schools are a group of four local independent schools, also comprising of Coopersale Hall School in Epping, Normanhurst School in North Chingford and Oaklands School in Loughton.
