This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated and dynamic Music Teacher to join our exceptional school. 

The post holder will be an enthusiastic and inspirational Music Teacher who is able to engage students in a love of learning. The post would suit both newly qualified teachers and those looking to consolidate teaching experience and who want to work in a vibrant and engaging environment. The post holder should be a passionate Music Teacher who can facilitate outstanding learning at Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a part time role working 16 hours per week, approx 60% of a full timetable across 4 days per week.

The Hammond is the North West’s leading provider of performing arts education and the UK’s oldest vocational dance school. Hammond students are encouraged and trained to be curious, independent, resilient young people who develop leadership skills, talent and potential to compete at the highest level. This is an exciting time to join The Hammond as it further develops the plethora of courses offered to students from preparation for GCSE studies, expert training as part of the Trinity Diploma, to the rigour of our Musical Theatre and Performance Degree in conjunction with the University of Chester.

The Hammond's Lower School Theatre Arts course, which runs alongside the school's excellent academic curriculum, gives our youngest pupils the strongest possible foundation in the core disciplines of performance. Delivered by teaching artists, experienced facilitators and industry professionals, as a Music Teacher on the Theatre Arts course you will help to develop young people into dynamic, adaptable and talented performers who are well equipped with the skills to thrive in our rapidly evolving world.

Due to a recent structure this position is available for an immediate start.
