We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated music teacher to join our vibrant school community. This is a fixed term part time position teaching all 8 classes one day a week, specialising in Music.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to meet the following criteria:
• Possess a clear understanding of The Arts Curriculum, especially music
• Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills,
• Able to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers
• Is a highly motivated and organised teacher
• Demonstrate a passion for teaching music to enthusiastic children
• Choir experience desirable
You will be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of lessons to foster a love of playing and creating music.
Support of the music program at school assemblies and simple performances at Open Days is highly desirable.

To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Tenure Duration (if "Fixed Term"): For 2022 school year
If Part Time, hours and/or days required: 1 day/week (6 hours/week) - day negotiable
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
