We are a successful and growing British school based in the town of Vila Real in the region of Valencia, Spain. The area is well connected and offers beautiful beaches, lively towns and benefits from its close proximity to the vibrant city of Valencia.

At the British School of Vila-real the UK National Curriculum is taught throughout the school and our students range from age 2 up to 18. The Primary School has approximately 300 students from Early Years to Year 6 and the Secondary school has approximately 280 students from Year 7 to Year 13. Last summer we had our sixth cohort of students all successfully completing their A-Levels and gaining places on university courses. The vast majority of our students are Spanish who enjoy learning in English apart from in the compulsory Spanish subjects.

We are looking to recruit an exceptional Music teacher to deliver the curriculum to our Key Stage 2, 3, and 4 students. Our school has a host of musical talent and we would like the successful candidate encourage and foster this. The successful candidate should have experience of organising large musical productions and will be responsible for our school musical and theatrical shows. The ability to play the piano would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will also responsible for the school audio equipment.

We use both the Edexcel and Cambridge examination boards and follow the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, the IGCSE course at Key Stage 4, and the AS and A2 courses in our Sixth Form.
