We are seeking a qualified classroom music teacher who has experience in teaching music to primary students from Prep to Year 6.
Music is a valued aspect of the school’s curriculum and cultural program. The teacher will be provided with a designated specialist classroom. The successful applicant will ideally have:
• a passion for music education
• experience in both teaching classroom music and leading choirs
• an ability to inspire and motivate students and musicians.
St. Columba's Primary School is located in the inner northern Brisbane suburb of Wilston with an approximate enrolment of 605 students. The quality of teaching and learning at St Columba’s meets the highest standards set by Government and Catholic authorities. To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
