ABC Teachers, part of the Times Education Supplement (TES), are a leading supply agency in the West Midlands. We have been approached to recruit for a creative Teacher of Music to work on a supply basis for an ambitious Secondary School in Sutton Coldfield. The role will be working across the keys stages and from September 2018 you will be working closely with Key Stage 3 to ensure that their secondary education has a smooth start.

The school has been rated ‘good’ by Ofsted and plays a big part in the local community and is highly regarded for their balanced education. The schools Music Department have a fantastic reputation and both students and staff are creating a positive learning environment. 

To be successful in this role, you will be confident, organised and reliable whilst having exceptional knowledge of the current music curriculum. The ability to teach another subject would also be preferable. You will be dedicated to the role and will be an active role in maintaining and improving the standards within the Music Department. 

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 24 months, two of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
