Music is a popular subject at GCSE where results are well above national average (86% A*-C summer 2016 with 50% A*/A). At A Level, results remain high in both Music and Music Technology (100% A* - C in both subjects, summer 2016). You should be prepared to teach across all key stages with a focus on creating and maintaining strong links with local primary schools; experience of delivering KS2 music will be an advantage. You will also be expected to be fully involved in the vast array of extra curricular musical activities offered.
