Music/ Theatre teacher

OTR International School is looking for a music/theatre teacher for its preschool and primary classes for the 2024-2025 school year (start date 27 August).

Responsibilities

The teacher will teach music and/or drama to preschool and primary classes (3 to 11 years old) and develop the students‘ artistic sensibilities.

He/she will design and implement learning situations within a pedagogical framework provided by the IB programmes and contribute to the collaborative planning and reflection of the IB Primary Years Programme.

He/she will design and implement methods for assessing the students’ achievements

He/she will actively participate in the school's projects (organization of school shows, school outings, school trips, etc.).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in musicology or equivalent diploma and/or teaching diploma

Mastery of subject knowledge and didactics

Design and implement learning situations that take into account the diversity of pupils

Significant experience in preschool and primary education

Know how to work in a team

Experience in international education/IB programme would be an advantage.

The candidate has to be an EU citizen or be in possession of an authorization to work in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg at the time of application.
