MYP/DP Mathematics Teacher - August 2024

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher in our Middle & High School Division to join ACS International School Doha, Qatar. The suitable candidate must have a strong background in teaching MYP/IB/DP.

Reporting to: Middle/High School Principal

 Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.

Requirements:

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics
• Teaching Qualification- PGCE/BEd or equivalent
• Experience teaching in an international school (IB,DP and MYP)

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong understanding of MYP and IB curricula and assessment practices.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment

Responsibilities  

• Use conceptual based learning and differentiated lessons in the delivery of MYP/IB/DP mathematics curriculum.
• Foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, problem- solving skills and critical thinking among students.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and suppor their academic growth.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom management that encourages active participation.
• Offer guidance and support to students in their internal assessment.
•  Assist in coordination and implementation of IB related activities.
