NETBALL COACH/ES

PART-TIME / FIXED TERM

Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools.

We are looking to appoint one or more inspiring, enthusiastic, dynamic and qualified Netball Coaches to join our high profile and extensive PE and Games department from January 2022. The successful candidate/s will have a proven record of coaching Netball to a high standard and help lead the development and delivery of our netball programme.

This position will involve coaching up to 4 afternoons a week (up to 20 hours per week) through the Lent term 2022. Given the nature of coaching, it is desirable for coaches to be available for weekend fixtures.  Please state your availability in your application.

A positive approach to the development of school sport, the ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to participate fully in a busy, successful independent school are essential.

Remuneration for Netball Coaches is £27.78 per hour.

We welcome applications from all sectors of the community as we aspire to attract staff that match the social and cultural diversity of our student intake. We consider the most important factor to be the right skills, abilities and attitude for the job which will ultimately improve the well-being and education of the pupils. Applicants must have the  right to work in the UK.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please visit www.lgs-senior.org.uk/vacancies for an information pack and application form.

A completed application form and curriculum vitae, accompanied by a covering letter addressed to Mrs Lyn Harding (HR and Compliance Manager, Leicester Grammar School Trust), should reach the school as soon as possible, and no later than 9.00am on Tuesday 30 November 2021. Applications should be emailed to recruitment@leicestergrammar.org.uk

Interviews will take place during the following week. However, be aware that interviews may be held at any stage after applications are received, so interested candidates are therefore advised to apply as soon as possible. We reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the specified deadline, if a suitable candidate is found.
