Charnwood College is now recruiting for a Netball Lead and Sports Enrichment Officer. This role could be the ideal next step in your career.

About the role

This role will have responsibility for improving performance within our Sixth Form Netball Academy, alongside enhancing  participation and provision across years 7 - 10. The role will also lead on the Trust All Star Netball programme, which brings together our best players from across 10 secondary academies, along with our annual talent days.   


You’ll work closely with the Head of PE to ensure netball and all other enrichment opportunities are promoted, delivered, reported and organised to a high standard throughout Charnwood College.

The post will work 4 days a week in the PE Department, and support the Head of Sports Enrichment for the equivalent of one day a week (also Charnwood College based).

37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year (those interested in term time hours only will be considered).

Starting September 2021 or as soon as possible after this date. Fixed term contract to August 2022, with opportunity for an extension.

Charnwood College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated in the west of Loughborough in Leicestershire. The academy is part of the David Ross Education Trust and is governed by a Local Governing Body.

The secondary academy has expressive arts facilities which include a dedicated music suite and dance and drama studio. In addition, its sports facilities include a floodlit, all-weather 3G sports pitch, a new sports centre, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a gym, a fitness suite, and extensive playing fields.
