We are looking for suitably qualified Network Manager provide technical support for the IT network in order to ensure an excellent learning resource for students and staff and an effective information system across the School and deliver the following:

  • To take responsibility for the administration, security, and performance of the school’s infrastructure and associated systems.

  • To ensure critical services and systems are secure and maintain high availability, performance, resilience and compliance with safeguarding and data protection standards.

  • To run IT projects and work with the IT, Data and Senior Leadership Team to align IT systems and hardware improvements with the school’s Digital Strategy

Oaklands is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in East London. It is a community state school as well as a NSS (National Support School] that provides support to other schools. A smaller than average secondary school, it will provide 850 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.

With over 20 years’ worth of educational success, Oaklands has been a specialist school for science since 2003 and became a specialist modern foreign language school in 2008.
