Salary: £18,000 to £19,000 depending on experience & qualifications

Can you make a difference to the life of a child or young adult?

Located near Kirkby Lonsdale, and Grange over Sands on the edge of the Lake District, Underley Garden settings provide specialist education and residential care to children and young adults with a range of complex needs.

Our highly-personalised approach ensures a more inclusive life for children and young adults in our specialist environments of understanding and calm. Our dedicated teams are passionate about creating positive, meaningful learning opportunities, helping to improve education, social and communication skills.

We now have opportunities for Night Support Workers to join our team and assist in the everyday care, education and treatment of children and young people. As a Night Support Worker you will help to provide a secure, happy and supportive environment within the residential houses, ensuring they offer an environment that is clean, tidy, warm and inviting.

Working to ensure the physical, emotional and personal care needs of our children and young people are met, you will liaise with colleagues, Parents and other family members and Social Workers to deliver the best Care Plans. Our Night Support Workers work hard to ensure that the young adults can carry as much responsibility for their own lives as is reasonable, helping them to live, grow and develop safely and positively.

As a Night Support Worker, you will work to a 5 on 5 off shift rota from 10.30pm to 9am.

If you are enthusiastic, reliable and flexible with a genuine interest in working with young adults, this is a great opportunity to join a team that is committed to providing the highest levels of Care and Support.

Safeguarding is everybody’s business.  The welfare and safeguarding of children and young people should be of paramount consideration, whatever your role or level of responsibility is within the organisation.  All employees, panel members, independent workers and volunteers are required to ensure compliance with the company’s guidance and policy on safeguarding and are required to attend Safeguarding training appropriate to their level of responsibility.
