An exciting opportunity for an NQT for Specialist SEND Provision looking to teach in a SEND setting with small groups of learners with Complex needs, ASC, Learning Difficulties and SEMH.
Vision for Education are seeking an NQT (newly qualified Teacher) for a September start, to work in a Specialist Provision based in Calderdale. The post is for a minimum of one academic year and has the potential to be offered on a permanent basis.
This setting has the support and capacity to consider NQTs, and to support a successful induction.
The NQT - Specialist SEND Provision role will involve:
Working with small groups of young people KS2 - KS4, tailoring learning to their specific needs and EHCP
Differentiating in many ways to provide individualised learning
Based learning around individual interests, facilitating learners in exploring their talents and fulfilling their fullest potential
We are seeking a teacher with boundless enthusiasm, resilience, commitment and ability to deliver creative and interesting sessions encompassing the core & wider curriculum
With an ability to engage learners who have not achieved their educational potential in a traditional, mainstream school setting and require a specialist approach
You will ideally have some experience working with Autism and ASC or Learning Difficulties and demonstrate an ability to build productive, lasting relationships
There will be opportunity to complete your induction year.
You must hold, or be about to gain QTS (or equivalent qualification) via a course in Primary, Secondary or Special Needs Education.

The successful NQT must be calm in a crisis and work hard to meet complex needs, ideally you will have prior knowledge, training or experience with Autism Spectrum conditions- however full training will be provided for the right candidate (FREE). This is a small setting and team; culture, ethos and personality fit are vital to success in this role.
Candidates will be subject to full vetting and safeguarding procedures. You must be willing to complete updated safeguarding training and relevant experience is essential.
