Salusbury is a large Victorian 3-form entry school in Queens Park. As an Early Years Phase Leader, you will be a key part of our leadership team delivering an excellent education for every child, every day.

Early Years Foundation Leader

Salusbury Primary is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Early Years teacher to join our highly committed team, to teach an early years class and lead our very talented EYFS team.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing the new EYFS statutory framework and will develop our EYFS provision to meet the new expectations alongside our existing senior leadership team.

Successful applicants will:

  • Be an experienced leader or someone who is well prepared to take on their first leadership role 
  • Be a team player with a passion for making a difference and is ambitious for children, and for making a difference. 
  • Be an outstanding and creative classroom practitioner with high expectations for pupils’ work and behaviour 
  • Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum 
  • Someone who is committed to developing themselves and demonstrates reflective practice 
  • Have a professional outlook and thrive on challenge
