We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery school teacher, English mother-tongue speaker, to join our teaching staff at L'Ecole de Battersea.
L’Ecole de Battersea provides an exceptional bilingual education with a curriculum that combines the French National and English Educational systems for children aged 3-11.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering lessons of excellent quality, using a high standard of English in English lessons
• Collaborating with colleagues of the same year group and as part of the larger French department
• A creative and innovative approach to the planning of lessons and other teaching sequences • Actively promoting pupils’ well-being
• Excellent knowledge of the curriculum
• Attending INSET days
• Reporting any problems directly to the Heads
• Maintaining order and good discipline among pupils and safeguarding their health and safety
• Providing a stimulating work environment in the classroom
• Assessing pupils regularly and recording attainment
• Attending meetings with parents and giving appropriate feedback on pupil progress
