Hartley Primary Academy have a fantastic opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Manager to join the team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to assist and ensure the best possible environment, the highest standards, and exceptional care are provided for our children. We are looking for an excellent practitioner who will be expected to provide high quality, flexible childcare for families.​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​Roundash Nursery joined Hartley Primary Academy in 2019 and provides the children with a safe, friendly, and nurturing environment where we use play and fun to increase learning. Our staff at Roundash Nursery support every child’s individual interests so that they engage fully with various exciting, challenging and high quality activities, to ensure they reach their full potential. Our successful candidate will play a pivotal role in its continued success and development and will also provide outstanding education opportunities for children aged from 3 years. 

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, EYPS, EYTS or QTS.
  • Previous, recent experience managing a similar setting.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels.
  • Ability to organise own work and that of others, identify priorities and meet outcomes.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating high levels of drive, enthusiasm and passion with proven ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent written communication with ability to produce and evaluate reports.
  • Up to date knowledge of EYFS framework and other relevant regulations.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Proven success in managing provision and innovative teaching across the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This is a permanent opportunity working Term Time + 1 week inset, 37 hours per week and offers an actual salary of £19,665 - £21,574 per annum (£22,864 - £25,082 full time equivalent), commensurate with experience.
