Job overview

The Elms Nursery nurtures babies and toddlers from six weeks to three years, in close association with the well-established Pre-school. Together, the Pre-school and Nursery ensure there is continuity and progression for its children fifty-one weeks of the year.

The Nursery is open 7.30am to 6.30pm. 

We are looking for caring and experienced Nursery Nurses of outstanding calibre, qualified to NVQ Level 3 who will provide the highest standards of quality care and education, ensuring that health and safety and security measures are constantly maintained.

We also have opportunities for those seeking to start a career as a Nursery Nurse and who are willing to undertake an Apprenticeship, supported by the Nursery.

All staff need to be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, policy and procedures and contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in their area in conjunction with other staff.

Remuneration will include a competitive salary a generous holiday entitlement and complimentary use of the School’s excellent dining and sports facilities.
