Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local Nursery in the Gateshead area.

Within this nursery the Headteacher provides inspirational leadership. All school leaders and governors have a relentless commitment to sustaining high standards. This nursery is looking for a committed and successful Nursery Nurse Assistant, to work full time within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit. Full time hours will include working 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday, between the hours of 07:30 and 18:00. This position is expected to start in January 2019 and continue on an on-going basis.

The successful Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Nursery Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ideally will have worked with children on a one-to-one basis. This position will require the successful candidate to work in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit, working with children aged 0-3.

To be considered for the position of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant you must:

• Have experience supporting children in primary education within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in childcare

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
